Chicano/Latino and Mission Family Resource System

The Chicano/Latino Family Resource System (FRS) collaborative is comprised of four agencies that provide linguistically and culturally appropriate services for Latino families throughout San Francisco. The FRS model allows collaboratives to provide a range of support services to strengthen families and improve children's well-being. With IFR serving as the lead agency, other organizations participating in the Chicano/Latino FRS collaborative include:

La Raza Community Resource Center
Mission Neighborhood Center
CARECEN

As part of the network of Family Resource Centers, the Chicano/Latino FRS combines the efforts of the collaborating agencies to develop a continuum of prevention, early intervention, and intensive case management services for families. The Mission Family Resource Center (MFRC) collaborative focuses on Latino families in the Mission District. IFR is also the lead agency for the MFRC, and includes the same partner organizations.
